Corbetts Skip Hire Ltd. was established in 1980 by Peter and Julia Corbett and ran from their yard in Dunston,Gateshead for 20 years. In this time it grew into one of the largest independent skip hire companies on Tyneside, with an excellent reputation for service and value. The company was acquired by W & M Thompsons of Prudhoe in January 2001 and relocated to Springwell in Gateshead. Recognising the value of Corbetts Skip Hire as a valued and respected name in the market place it was decided to keep Corbetts as an independent company but now with the added benefit of being part of a larger group.
